Wilson eventually devoted years to preaching and spiritual guidance.
The man once known for responding to sitcom chaos was now speaking to people about faith and purpose.
It represented a significant transformation in public identity.
Yet there was continuity as well.
The sincerity audiences had responded to in his performancesbecame part of the way people understood his later work.
His life moved from performance to service

Wilson spent decades speaking, writing and guiding others.
The stage had changed.
The purpose had changed.
But communication remained central to his life.
Writing became another part of his later work
Wilson also expressed himself through books and written reflections.
