They Asked for $20,000 from the Man They Humiliated for 12 Years —His Answer Left Them Speechless

I was about to throw them out, but Jordan calmly invited them for tea and listened to their complaints for two hours. Then he went to his office and returned with a check already written.

$20,000.

My mother’s eyes sparkled as she took her, but Jordan gently pulled her away.

“You can take this,” he said firmly, “here, now… but only if you meet ONE CONDITION.” The room fell silent. My parents exchanged a look, their trust was shaken.

“Which term?” my father asked, in a trembling voice.

“It’s simple,” Jordan said. “I want you to apologize for the way you’ve treated me all these years.”

Dad laughed. “Is that it? Definitely.” I’m sorry, Jordan.

Mom nodded immediately. “If any of the things we said hurt you…”

“Did you?” I blurted out before I could hold back.

He froze for a moment and then quickly continued. “We never wanted to hurt you. It was just a joke. We are sorry.”
